Get Clean San Diego

Our Escondido homes

Escondido is where Get Clean San Diego started, and it's home to the house behind most of our Google reviews. Our four Escondido homes are spread across the city, from the East Valley to north and south Escondido, and all of them run on the same house agreement.

If you're coming out of treatment in North County, or moving here for a fresh start, an Escondido home puts you close to work, the SPRINTER and Breeze transit center downtown, and parks and trails like Dixon Lake, Daley Ranch and Kit Carson Park.

Why residents choose Escondido

  • Three men's homes, plus the Parkhouse, our women's home
  • The Clubhouse: tennis court, basketball hoop and a big backyard
  • The Skyhouse: about a mile from downtown and the library
  • The Ranchhouse: minutes from I-15, Kit Carson Park and Lake Hodges
  • The Parkhouse: a quiet street near Jesmond Dene Park

Reviews

From people who've lived it

Every one of our 41 Google reviews is five stars.
  • “Connor sets the bar for how to operate a well-structured sober living. The standards are clear, the expectations are consistent, and the accountability system is set up in a way that keeps his home(s) running smoothly and the residents supported. This particular property itself is a standout: PLENTY of parking, a central Escondido location, and an overall layout is CLEAN and cozy. The tennis court and east mountain view adds the ultimate wow factor after stepping out back. If you’re looking for a recovery residence, or sober living with structure…Get Clean San Diego has written the book. One last important note; he has many other options to choose from in North County as well. Thanks for paving the way Connor!”

  • “The Sky House has done for me what I could not to do on my own. Connor’s design for a supportive and sober living is parallel to none. Early sobriety is scary enough and trying to find a safe environment in a sea of sketchy and money minded houses seems impossible. I knew I made the right choice when I called Connor about housing. If you’re serious about your sobriety, this house holds the key to finding fulfillment and purpose in recovery.”

  • “Best place ever. This man gave me a chance when nobody else in San Diego county would. I’m truly blessed and honored to be at the best sober living in north county. If you are struggling and want a clean beautiful place to get started in your recovery call Connor and I promise you that you won’t be disappointed.”

Questions

Sober living in Escondido: common questions

A sober living home is a shared, alcohol- and drug-free house for people in recovery. It isn't treatment: there are no therapy sessions or medical staff on site. What it gives you is structure, accountability and a house full of people working the same program, so the habits you started in treatment have somewhere to take root.

Every home is alcohol- and drug-free, with a curfew, random drug testing and a shared household routine, including daily chores. Residents take part in a 12-step program and work with a sponsor. You'll go over the full house agreement before you move in. See how our sober living works.

We have five homes in North County San Diego. Men's homes: the Poolhouse in San Marcos, and the Skyhouse, Clubhouse and Ranchhouse in Escondido. Women's home: the Parkhouse in Escondido.
